Molokai Island is small. Kuanakakai is smaller, everybody knows everybody.
That’s not necessarily a good thing either. The town is split in two, North district and South district. Each district has its own high school. These kids take their rivalry seriously. Well, most of them at least.
You’d be surprised what the smell of the ocean does to a person in the summer. Love is in the air. So is lust, jealousy, revenge, and hate. It’s every teen for them self.
